La nonna di mio marito mi ha regalato una scatola piena di bordini ricamati nuovi, mai usati, come si usavano una volta. Un bottino prezioso che userò per abbellire le tovaglie, le federe, le lenzuola…..ma non solo.
Fino adesso li ho usati per un piccolo portamonete che mi sono fatta e per due tovaglie bianche. Il problema è che le tovaglie sono adesso così belle che non le voglio usare, per paura delle inevitabili macchie….
My husband’s grandma gave me a box full of embroided ribbons, all new but old-fashioned. A precious booty I’ll use to embellish tableclothes, napkins, pillow cases and who knows what else.
I’ve already used some for a small coin purse I’ve sewn for me and for 2 white tableclothes. The problem is that now the tableclothes are so beautiful now that I don’t wanna use them, to avoid the inevitable stains....
E voi, avete qualche idea su come li potrei usare diversamente?
